Initiated in 1806

In 1806, Napoleon implemented the Continental

Blockade, cutting off coffee supplies from the Silk Road.

He commanded the royal chefs of France to "create an

alternative coffee," marking the start of alternative coffee

history. While the chefs attempted to fulfill this command,

they ultimately failed to replicate the beloved beverage

and produced only disappointing flavors.

Invented in 2024

Fast forward nearly 200 years, "SANS" has emerged as

the first brand to perfectly capture the taste and aroma

of coffee without using any coffee beans— surpassing

the original flavor! Through fermentation-based

biotechnology called “bal-hyo”, "SANS" delivers this

innovation in a single cup, achieving the new coffee

experience Napoleon sought for the first time ever.

"SANS" means "without" in French. Our brand embodies this concept by eliminating coffee beans, unhealthy caffeine, concerns about climate change, and trade imbalances.

02 #C0FFEE

"SANS" color is represented by the hex code #C0FFEE. This color embodies the coffee that once existed only in our imagination. While it reads as "coffee," it is not the actual color of coffee. Soon, you will see "SANS" 's unique color showcased globally!

03 TRANSPARENCY GRID

The "Transparency Grid" appears in "SANS" where consumer-centric design is absent. It refers to the pattern that appears when the basic white layer in Photoshop is removed. It symbolizes "nothingness", representing our commitment to simplicity and clarity.

04 FOUNDRY

Unlike traditional "Roasteries". "SANS" operates a "Foundry" for coffee production. This innovative space, devoid of roasters and grinders, acts like a furnace where passion and cutting-edge technology come together to create the future of coffee.
